NIHON KOHDEN single-parameter monitors provide simple pulsoximetric and capnographic monitoring. Most of these monitors are equipped with a display and serial interface, allowing both real-time and trend data display and storage.

Modules

Stand-alone units (such as the CO2 unit, which measures CO2 using the sidestream method) as well as modular equipment systems ensure utmost versatility in NIHON KOHDEN patient monitoring systems. Life Scope patient monitors provide a maximum of flexibility and ensure ideal patient monitoring. Smart modules with plug-and-play functionality that can be used out of the box enable simple and reliable patient monitoring.

Life Scope J (BSM-9101) 

The new Life Scope J (BSM-9101K) patient monitor combines state-of-the-art technology with modularity. NIHON KOHDEN thereby provides a reliable and easy-to-use patient monitoring system.

 

 

Life Scope TR (BSM-6301, BSM-6501, BSM-6701) 

The new Bedside Monitor Life Scope TR combines classical NIHON KOHDEN functionalities with state of the art technology.

 

 

 

Life Scope A (BSM-5105, BSM-5135) 

Equipped with an integrated gas unit (BSM-5135) for measuring anaesthesia gases together with flexible parameter selection, Life Scope A is ideal for patient monitoring during surgery or in any intensive-care unit.

PVM-2701 

Patient Monitor for monitoring ECG, pulse, respiration, SpO2, NIBP and temperature. The lager, clearly arranged touchscreen makes operation simple and intuitive.

 

Central monitors

NIHON KOHDEN Central Monitors ensure efficient and flexible patient monitoring. You can connect any Life Scope monitor to the Life Scope network, or send data via transmitter to your central station or digital central telemetry monitor. The HL7-Gateway gives you the option of transferring bedside monitor data for archiving via LS-Datalog or for real-time observation on a PC outside the Life Scope network via NetKonnect.

LS-NET (Life Scope Networking) 

Patient monitors can be linked up to NIHON KOHDEN Central Monitors via Ethernet and TCP/IP (LS-NET). This requires the optional QI-101P network card.

 

 

Central Monitors 

You can link any Life Scope monitor or telemetry transmitter to our CNS-9701 Central Monitor via LS-NET, either by Ethernet LAN or W-LAN.

 

Digital telemetry Central Monitor 

Our telemetry Central Monitor gives you versatile patient monitoring by combining a variety of patient transmitters and telemetric patient monitors.

HL7 gateway Server

The new NIHON KOHDEN HL7 Gateway Server enables data communication between the hospital or Clinical Information System (HIS/CIS) and a NIHON KOHDEN Patient Monitoring System.

LS-Datalog

NIHON KOHDEN’s LS-Datalog archiving software archives vital data from your NIHON KOHDEN patient monitor.

Transmitters

Transmitters for NIHON KOHDEN Life Scope bedside monitors for transferring data such as ECG, respiration and temperature to telemetry Central Monitors.

 

 

Network sollutions

NIHON KOHDEN has an extensive range of network solutions for applications ranging from the simple transfer of basic vital functions to complex monitoring system installations. Products from other disciplines can be integrated into one network solution.

LS-NET (Life Scope Networking) 

Patient monitors can be linked up to NIHON KOHDEN Central Monitors via Ethernet and TCP/IP (LS-NET).

Any Life Scope monitor or telemetry sender can be linked to the CNS-9701 Central Monitor via LS-NET (Ethernet-LAN and W-LAN).

Almost all Life Scope patient monitors can be equipped with W-LAN cards.

NetKonnect from NIHON KOHDEN is a software package that provides remote access to data in your patient monitor network.

 

IT solutions

The PDMS from LOWTeq GmbH handles documentation of medical and billing data; information from all vital data monitors is recorded in the anaesthesia and intensive care protocol online.

 

Interbed function

Life Scope patient monitors display information from up to a further sixteen patient monitors in the same network (telemetry, W-LAN or LAN).
