The cordless model 2002 has an increased capacity of 550 lbs-250 kg with optional increased accuracy of 50 gm. Standard accuracy is 100 gm (1/10 lb). Our patented, double pendulum weighing system ensures accuracy even when the patient is off-center.

The 2002’s unique automatic, pre-programmed tare eliminates the need for zeroing the scale prior to each weighing-- saving time and eliminating errors. The scale’s computer memory also retains the weight of the last patient weighed. The push of a button allows you to recall weight after the patient has left the scale. An automatic reweigh feature enables the operator to reweigh a patient while still on the scale. An optional paper-tape printer automatically prints out patient weight providing a permanent, accurate record.

The new 2002 electronics are powered by six replaceable D-size batteries. One set provides up to 10,000 weighings. No more line cords. An optional RS 232 connection feeds weight information directly to your computer station saving time and avoiding errors.

The 2002’s ultra-sturdy, rectangular steel frame is designed for ease of movement from room to room. The low-profile base fits under any hospital bed including low air-loss and all special-care beds. Redesigned stretcher rings afford more space for patients. A powder-blue finish provides both eye appeal and easy cleaning.

The 2001 is designed for weighing non-ambulatory patients. It makes in bed weighing as easy as changing bed sheets.

Sophisticated stretcher design accommodates any patient without “cradling” that could disturb life support hook-ups. With pediatric stretcher and bars, model 2001 can be used for patients in cribs or pediatric beds. Just push a button and the battery-operated digital read-out displays true weight (not an average weight) in pounds and kilograms. The 2001’s patented transducer assures correct readings no matter where the patient is positioned on the stretcher. The scale has no moving parts in the weighing mechanism and never needs recalibration.

Specifically designed for daily or serial weighing of your non-ambulatory patients, there’s no easier-to-use, or more reliable scale available today. Scale-Tronix invented the SlingScale, and most of our original scales are still in use after 20 years of service.
